Sooooooooo, I know this is kind of late in the year to be putting together a reading list and usually this sort of thing is done at the beginning, but the truth is, I just wasn’t confident in my ability to stick to a goal. Especially a goal that is always far too lofty for how slow a reader I am.
So i’m setting myself a far easier reading goal and limiting it to only a few months.
The Fall Reading Goal: Three Months (September, October, November), Six Books.
Easy-peasy lemon squeezy, right? Well, hopefully (obviously confidence is at an all-time high).
Currently Reading (doesn’t count): Live By Night by Dennis Lehane
The Reading List (in no particular order):
- Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton
- Quiet by Susan Cain
- The Once and Future King by T.H. White
- Hamlet by William Shakespeare
- The Other Typist by Suzanne Rindell
- Villette by Charlotte Brontë
Villette stands alone on this list as the one book I’ve already read. It’s just time to read it again.
If I should read other books in this time, so be it, but these six are the primary goal.
What books are on your must-be-read-ASAP list?
